Eesha was summoned to the police station on Tuesday night to provide a statement for the investigation. She has been ordered to report again at 4:00 PM on Wednesday to the Sergeant Adam Haleem Criminal Investigation Building, located near the Henveiru Stadium in Malé.
This marks the second time he has been summoned by the police for questioning regarding the investigation into this case.
Eesha is accused of involvement in a documentary allegedly produced to slander President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. Following her summons to the Hulhumale' Police Station on Tuesday night, her legal counsel and former Prosecutor General, Hussain Shameem, told reporters that Eesha intends to provide full cooperation to the police investigation regarding the "Aisha Documentary."
Speaking to reporters after Eesha was summoned to the Hulhumale' Police Station on Tuesday night for questioning and to provide a statement, Shameem stated that she intends to provide the police with a full and detailed account of the incident.
