Adam Naseer becomes the 10th minister to resign
Ten cabinet ministers have resigned from their posts, with the President formally accepting their letters of resignation. According to the President's Office, these changes were implemented to ensure that the government's efforts align more closely with the public interest and sentiment.

Adam Naseer Ibrahim has resigned from his post as the Minister of Dhivehi Language, Culture and Heritage within President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s cabinet.
The President's Office has confirmed that Minister Adam Naseer has resigned from his post.
The Ministers who have resigned
- Mohamed Ghassan Maumoon from the position of Minister of Defence
- Dr. Abdulla Khaleel from the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs.
- Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim from the position of Minister of Health.
- Thoriq Ibrahim from the position of Minister of Tourism and Environment
- Dr. Aishath Shiham from the position of Minister of Social and Family Development.
- Adam Naseer Ibrahim from the position of Minister of Dhivehi Language, Culture and Heritage
- Dr. Maryam Mariya has been removed from her position as the Minister of Agriculture and Animal Welfare.
- Ibrahim Waheed from the position of Minister of Youth Empowerment, Information and Art.
- Adam Shareef Umar from the position of Minister of Cities, Local Government and Public Works
- Dr. Ali Haidar Ahmed, from the position of Minister of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development
The President's Office has announced that the President has accepted the resignations of 10 cabinet ministers. These resignations were submitted to facilitate the positive changes the President intends to implement in order to align the administration's governance with the will of the people.
