Minister of Cities Adam Shareef dismissed from office
In a significant cabinet reshuffle, the Minister of Cities and Local Government, Adam Shareef Umar, has been removed from office alongside the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Social and Family Development. Additionally, the Ministers of Health and Defence have tendered their resignations; however, the government has yet to disclose the specific reasons behind these high-level changes, which are expected to lead to a major restructuring of senior administration posts.

The Minister of Cities, Local Government, and Public Works, Adam Shareef Umar, has been removed from his post.
While the reason for the minister's dismissal remains unclear, Foreign Minister Dr. Abdulla Khaleel and Minister of Social and Family Development Dr. Aishath Shiham were also removed from their posts on Tuesday.
Furthermore, Minister of Health Abdulla Nazim and Minister of Defence Ghassan Maumoon have resigned from their posts.
