The President and First Lady departs for Saudi Arabia on Monday to perform Umrah

The Saudi government is covering all expenses for the President and the First Lady’s visit, which is being conducted under the full hospitality of the Kingdom.

The President and the First Lady have departed for Saudi Arabia on Monday to perform the Umrah pilgrimage.

The President's Office has stated that the Saudi Arabian government is hosting President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed during their visit to perform Umrah, covering all expenses related to the trip.

Furthermore, it was stated that all arrangements regarding this trip had been finalized in early February.

The President and the First Lady also traveled to Saudi Arabia for an Umrah pilgrimage earlier in 2024. Additionally, the first couple performed the Hajj pilgrimage last year.
