MDP President Abdulla Shahid departs on a campaign visit to Alif Alif, Baa, and Raa Atolls ahead of the upcoming local council elections
During this trip, the schedule includes door-to-door campaigning, the inauguration of campaign centers, and high-level discussions with candidates. Following the official launch of its campaign, the MDP has been intensifying its activities by visiting various islands across the atolls to strengthen its presence.

The President of the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), Abdulla Shahid, has departed on a campaign tour of Alif Alif, Baa, and Raa Atolls ahead of the upcoming Local Council and Women's Development Committee elections.
MDP President Abdulla Shahid has joined the campaign trail for the Local Council and Women's Development Committee elections. He is accompanied by former Member of Parliament and MDP Deputy Chairperson Ahmed Abdulla, former Velidhoo MP Mohamed Abdulla Shafeeq, and several general members of the party.
During this trip, campaign activities are scheduled to take place across the islands of North Ari (Alif Alif) and Baa Atoll, as well as Raa Atoll. Following the launch of the campaign for the upcoming Local Council and Women's Development Committee elections on the night of February 12, the MDP has been conducting visits to various islands across the atolls.
During this trip, which includes the participation of MDP President Abdulla Shahid, door-to-door campaign activities and the inauguration of campaign centers are scheduled to take place across all three atolls.
Furthermore, he will meet with the candidates to engage in high-level discussions.
