22 Sports Club has condemned remarks made by Vilimale' MP Mohamed Ismail, stating that his comments were defamatory toward the club.
In a statement released by 22 Sports Club, the organization asserted that Mohamed Ismail has made defamatory remarks against them. The club specifically addressed and refuted allegations made by him on Facebook regarding the organization.
The club stated that it is not an organization that supports any specific political ideology or works to promote the interests of any particular political party. However, the club further noted that individual members retain the constitutional right to support any political ideology of their choosing.
