Temporary housing provided to family displaced by dangerous house fire in Male'
A severe fire broke out at M. Rimlaas late Sunday night, causing extensive damage that has rendered the building uninhabitable. While no injuries were reported, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has stepped in to provide the affected family with emergency food and temporary shelter. According to the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), firefighters successfully extinguished the blaze by approximately 4:12 a.m.

Temporary housing has been provided to a family displaced by a dangerous fire that broke out in a Male' residence late Sunday night.
The fire incident occurred at M. Rimlaas around 3:06 a.m.
The MNDF stated that upon receiving the report of the fire, firefighters from the Male’ Fire Station were immediately dispatched to the scene and have since worked to extinguish the flames.
The MNDF confirmed that the fire was completely extinguished by approximately 04:12.
Furthermore, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) stated on Monday that the fire at M. Rimlaas caused extensive damage, rendering the building uninhabitable.
Consequently, the Authority stated that it has provided the family with necessary food supplies and temporary housing assistance.
The incident caused various degrees of damage to different parts of the house. However, no injuries have been reported.
