The MDP campaign team received a warm welcome from the residents of N. Holhudhoo and Velidhoo during the leadership's tour of the atolls for the upcoming Local Council and Women's Development Committee elections.
Following the official launch of the campaign for the Local Council and Women's Development Committee elections on Thursday night, MDP’s Parliamentary Group Leader Ibrahim Nazil, former Velidhoo MP Mohamed Abdulla Shafeeq, and several general party members traveled to the atolls on Friday.
In an exclusive interview with RaajjeMV following a door-to-door campaign event and meetings with MDP candidates from two islands, PG Leader Ibrahim Nazil stated that the party is fully prepared for the upcoming Local Council and Women's Development Committee elections. He further noted that the MDP team is conducting its campaign activities in a highly organized manner.
