New Radiant Sports Club and Victory Sports Club are joining forces to host a special event ahead of their much-anticipated clash in the Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League. The match, widely known as ‘Rasvaadha’, holds a unique place in Maldivian football due to the historic rivalry and intense competitive spirit shared by these two iconic clubs.
In connection with the fixture, a joint event will be held on Sunday evening at the Artificial Beach. The gathering is expected to feature a range of activities aimed at building excitement ahead of Tuesday's match. Jerseys of both clubs will be available for sale, and several legendary players from both sides are scheduled to take part.
Among the former players expected to attend are notable names such as Ahmed Haleem, Ibrahim Hameed, Paris Shakir, and Mauroof Ahmed. The event will also include opportunities for these veterans to share their reflections, adding a nostalgic dimension to the evening.
New Radiant has announced that it will wear a white and green kit for the game, a jersey design considered historically significant for the club.
