The Bank of Maldives (BML) has officially completed the rollout of Self-Service Banking ATMs across all inhabited islands of Faafu Atoll, following the installation of new machines in Dharanboodhoo and Magoodhoo islands.

We’re delighted to announce all inhabited islands in Faafu atoll now have our state-of-the-art Self-Serving banking ATMs to serve customers 24/7 without the need to travel to nearby islands. This is a significant milestone for the Bank and a much anticipated service for the communities here. We remain committed to promoting financial inclusion across the country.”

The milestone was marked with an inauguration ceremony attended by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, government ministers, BML Chairperson Ahmed Ali Habeeb, CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef, along with senior officials from the country’s national bank.

Speaking at the event, CEO Mohamed Shareef highlighted the significance of the achievement.
