Landing craft that capcized in Kaashidhoo | MNDF

A Maldivian man has died after a landing craft capsized.

Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) is currently active in response to a civilian landing craft capsizing in the waters of Kaashidhoo.

MNDF revealed that they are conducting rescue operations for the passengers of the capsized civilian landing craft.

According to a reliable source, the rescued individuals were taken to Naifaru island, where the Lhaviyani Atoll Hospital is located. The source also revealed that so far, five people have been taken to the hospital, and one of them has been confirmed dead.

Among those who were traveling on the landing craft, two foreigners and three Maldivians have been taken to the hospital so far.
