As the Greater Malé Region is currently swathed in a widespread, long drawn-out power outage, telecommunications provider Dhiraagu has revealed that residents may experience mobile dysconnectivity.
In an announcement, Dhiraagu revealed that during the commercial power failure across GMR, their mobile cites are currently operating on battery backup.
The telecom provider stressed that prolonged commercial power outage may result in failure of cell sites, interrupting mobile services for our customers in Greater Malé.
