Registrar of Companies has resigned but did not disclose the reason for her resignation

Registrar of Companies Mariyam Visam has resigned.
Visam has confirmed her resignation to several news outlets. However, she has not disclosed the reason for her resignation.
Visam, who was appointed as the Registrar of Companies on 4 January 2014, holds a Master's Degree in Business Economics from the University of Queensland, Australia. She also holds a degree in Marketing Management from Northumbria University.
Prior to being appointed as Registrar of Companies, she served as the Director and Acting Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Capital Market Development Authority (CMDA).
In addition to this, Visam also served as a board member of the Pension Office.
