MP Shahudhee resigns from PPM

MP Hussain Shahudhee, Hanimaadhoo Constituency

Member of Parliament for Hanimaadhoo Constituency, Hussain Shahudhee has resigned from ruling Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM).

Shahudhee's resignation came at a time when several MPs from PPM have been tendering their resignations.

The Secretary General of the Party Dr. Abdullah Khaleel has been informed of the decision.

In the letter sent to Dr. Khaleel, MP Shahudhee said he had no desire to remain in any political party at the moment and had requested to remove him from PPM's register, effective immediately.
