A manhunt has been launched for an individual suspected to be linked to an ongoing probe.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that the case is being investigated by the police station in Manadhoo island of Noonu atoll.
Being located in connection with the case is Ahmed Viaam, 27 and native to Miladhoo island of Noonu atoll.
The public has been urged to reach out to the Manadhoo Police Station through 9792039 if any information regarding the whereabouts of the suspect, is attained.
The police institution took the opportunity to express gratitude to the public, for the immense support and assistance received in connection with such cases.
