Three suspects in Fonadhoo murder, remanded

Criminal Court has remanded the three suspects in a Bangladeshi man’s murder in Fonadhoo island of Laamu atoll, for 15 days.
The Bangladeshi man, who was found dead in Fonadhoo island of Laamu atoll on Thursday, was allegedly murdered.
The police said on Friday that they found bruises and other signs of struggle on his person.
The 27-year-old male had reportedly been missing for two days before his body was found.
An official from the Maldives Police Service said that the man goes by the name ‘Hassan’ullah’.
His body was found in the trees near a recreational area in Baraasil ward of the island.
