Bank of Maldives (BML) has supported the establishment of a therapy room for children with complex learning difficulties and disabilities, in Imaduddin School.
This comes as part of the country’s national bank’s commitment to invest in supporting the local communities.
Designed to positively impact learning and development in an inclusive environment, the therapy room is equipped to provide services including speech and occupational therapy as well as sensory activities and counselling.
The country’s national bank revealed that more than 130 students enrolled in the Jewel Centre at Imaduddin School, are expected to use the therapy room.
BML remains committed to continue investing in projects supporting charitable, educational, sports as well as environment-related causes.
Over the course of the past four years, BML has donated educational tools to 40 schools across the island nation in a bid to support students in classes.
Further, BML has invested in the upgrading of computer labs in atoll schools as well.
