UK issues travel advisory against Maldives

Political turmoil today near People's Majlis.
The United Kingdom has issued a travel advisory on the Maldives.
The travel advisory issued stated that ‘Maldivian military blockaded parliament and forcefully removed MPs from the building, leading to a disturbance around the parliament building (Majlis) area in Malé’.
The advice noted that previous demonstrations and political protests have led to violence and arrests. The Government of UK had appealed their citizens to exercise precautions, comply with with local security requirements and avoid large gatherings.
Nations had always released travel advices in times of political crises.
