A Maldivian man who was arrested for being in possession of suspected narcotics, has been released on conditional bail.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that they conducted a raid of a residence under a court order after sundown on Tuesday.
A 32-year-old Maldivian man was arrested in the raid.
Officers confiscated three joints and a piece of cellophane filled with suspected narcotics, during the search.
Further, police revealed that he was presented for his remand hearing to the Criminal Court on Wednesday.
The Criminal Court had released the man on conditional bail.
Further investigations are currently underway in connection with the case.
