Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid has met with the High Commissioner of Pakistan to Maldives, Vice Admiral (retired) Muhammad Fayyaz Gilani.

This was revealed by the foreign minister in a Twitter post.

The meeting took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday.

During the meeting, the Maldivian foreign minister expressed gratitude to the Pakistani High Commissioner for his generous assistance in further strengthening the existing bilateral relations between the Maldives and Pakistan.

During the meeting, FM Shahid and the Pakistani High Commissioner engaged in discussions on ways to strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries.
