FM Shahid confident that Maldives-Pakistan relations will continue to flourish

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid has expressed confidence that the existing relationship between Maldives and Pakistan will continue to flourish in the future.
In a message to his counterpart in Pakistan, Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan on the occasion of Pakistan Day, FM Shahid revealed that Maldives and Pakistan share close bonds of brotherhood and friendship founded on shared faith, mutual respect and values.
With this being said, he expressed confidence that the existing relations between the two countries will continue to flourish in the years ahead.
FM Shahid extended sincere greetings and warm felicitations to the government and brotherly people of Pakistan on behalf of the people and government of Maldives as Pakistan celebrates the day.
The Maldivian minister went on to congratulate the Pakistan people and government on marking the historic and joyous occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Independence of Pakistan in 2022.
FM Shahid went on to wish his Pakistani counterpart good health, happiness, continued progress and prosperity to the people of Pakistan.
