Man wanted in connection with theft of a motorcycle

A man is being sought by authorities in connection with a case of motorcycle theft.

Maldives Police Service (MPS) has released a video of the incident.

The police institution revealed that the man in the video is being sought in connection with a case of theft of a motorcycle being investigated by the police station in Galolhu district of Male' City. Police notes that the motorcycle was stolen when it was parked near the shop, Lynchpin, lonuziyaarai magu.

MPS states that the authority has not been able to locate the man as they have not been able to identify the man.

The public has been urged to contact the authority’s Galolhu station through 9631696 or the Maldives Police Service Hotline number 3322111 if any information on the suspect’s whereabouts is attained.

The police institution also took the opportunity to express gratitude to the public for the support and assistance extended in such cases.
