President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has officially inaugurated the new football ground developed in Himendhoo Island of Alifu Alifu Atoll.

President Solih inaugurated the football ground of Himendhoo on Thursday, as part of the his tour of the atoll.

The football ground on Himendhoo Island was surfaced with turf and developed to include amenities by Amin Construction Pvt. Ltd., the project's contractor. 

The administration has implemented various initiatives to provide modern football grounds, futsal fields, and sports courts across the atolls.

These efforts are designed to promote healthy and active lifestyles among young people, foster the development of local athletic talent, and create a more vibrant and active community. By providing access to high-quality sports facilities, these initiatives are helping to achieve these goals.
