First Lady Fazna Ahmed has highlighted the importance of maternal health and emphasized the need to priorities lifestyle-related changes to address maternal health issues.

She made the remarks during a ceremony to award funds to recipients of the 'In Vitro Fertilizations (IVF) Fund,' organized by the Fertility Support Community, on Monday.

During the ceremony, First Lady Fazna commended the admirable work of the management and staff of the Fertility Support Community. She praised their efforts to raise awareness and provide aid in service delivery, stating that such activities are beneficial to policy formation, implementation, and further development. The First Lady also encouraged the Fertility Support Community to continue their essential work in this area.

In her speech, the First Lady discussed changes in the country's birth health outcomes, reproductive health, and childbirth rates. She cited the latest census data, which showed that the childbirth rate had declined significantly until last year. In light of this, she stated that the administration has begun improving services connected to fertility assistance across the nation.

The First Lady also addressed the common causes of maternal health difficulties. The First Lady also underlined the need to increase spending on a healthy diet and exercise to attain physical and mental well-being.
