Participants of the "Train the Trainers" Programme for Frontliners have been urged to aim for improved service delivery.
Vice President Faisal Naseem made the appeal on the programme’s participants, during the closing ceremony of the programme, on Thursday.
Taking the podium at the event, VP Naseem urged participants to aim for change and improved service delivery through guidance and coaching of colleagues.
The programme was initiated as part of the Government Services Workstream under the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Government Experience Exchange Programme (GEEP).
Expressing gratitude to the government of UAE for their steadfast support and assistance in the public sector development of Maldives, VP Naseem shed light on the administration's commitment to enhance public service delivery and public sector reform.
VP Naseem recognized the valuable learning opportunity from the experience of UAE.
Revolving around comprehensive training on the latest theories, concepts, best practices, and techniques for delivering exemplary government services, the programme was successfully completed by 50 participants.
The collaborative efforts of the Civil Service Commission (CSC), the Civil Service Training Institute (CSTI), the Foreign Relations Office, and the Public Administration Reform division of the President's Office made the execution of the programme successful.
