A children’s park has been developed at the pre-school of Fenfushi in Alifu Dhaalu Atoll, under the Community Fund initiative of Bank of Maldives (BML).

BML disclosed that the project was carried out by the local NGO, Fenfushi Zuvaanunge Dhirun.

The bank noted that the project has been completed and that the park is now open for school children and general public.

Commenting on the project, the President of Fenfushi Zuvaanunge Dhirun, Ahmed Abdul Muhsin stated that they have not had a children's park on the island for so long. He stated that the mission by the NGO was to create a space to strengthen the community spirit, and provide recreational and relaxation for children and families.

The President of Fenfushi Zuvaanunge Dhirun noted that NGO is very pleased to have the opportunity to support the community in such a way and expressed their gratitude for BML.

The BML Community Fund is a program to empower individuals and NGOs to contribute to their communities through sustainable projects.
