Dhigurah Harbor Development Project
Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has commenced physical works of the Harbor Development Project of Dhigurah Island of Alifu Dhaalu Atoll.
MTCC states that the company commenced the physical works of the project on 08 March, 2023.
MTCC will be conducting dredging operations of 64,416 cubic meters and channel dredging operations of 6,770 cubic meters, under the project.
Scope of works under the project also includes construction of a 294 meter quay wall and a 287 meter breakwater.
Furthermore, the company will also be doing construction work of a 98 meter revetment, construction of a ramp, a jetty, and an apron.
Additional work under the project include installation of 2,324 square meter harbor pavement and installation of harbor lights.
The value of the project is MVR 50.02 million.
