Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has disclosed that the Road Development Project of Hoarafushi Island of Haa Alifu Atoll is well underway.

MTCC disclosed that the project has seen 80 percent overall progress.

The company notes that the subgrade, sub-base and asphalt laying works are progressing with 94 percent completion.

Hoarafushi Road Development Project was commenced on January 16 2022.

The project is valued at MVR 71.9 million and MTCC will be developing 11 roads of the island under the project.
