Alcohol bottles in Kudahuvadhoo Police Station custody, destroyed
A massive amount of alcohol bottles under the Kudahuvadhoo Police Station in Dhaalu atoll Kudahuvadhoo, have been destroyed.
Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that the alcohol bottles were destroyed by the Kudahuvadhoo Police Station on January 26.
Destroyed were 265 bottles of alcohol and 899 cans of beer.
The alcohol and beer were confiscated by officers, from tourists who arrived at Dhaalu Airport for departure between 4 January 2022 – 4 January 2023.
The institution revealed that the bottles were destroyed under the supervision of the relevant police team and committee, as well as under the set legal procedure for it.
