A dangerous road accident has left four injured.
The accident occurred in the second phase of Hulhumale', on Friday, when two motor cycles collided.
Maldives Police Service (MPS) disclosed that the institute received information of the accident at around 01:00 pm on Friday.
The collision between two cycles injured three men and a woman.
MPS states all of the injured received treatment from the Hulhumale' Hospital.
The authority shared that the 23 year old woman, who was driving one of the cycles do not have a driving license.
Later, on the same day, MPS revealed that a Maldivian man died in a fatal road accident, that took place in the vacant area close to the bridge entrance from Hulhumale' side.
MPS revealed that the accident was reported to them at around 2:30pm on Friday.
The accident occurred when a motorcycle and car crashed near the traffic light on Sinamalé Bridge.
The injured individual was rushed to the hospital immediately but was pronounced dead by doctors at the Tree Top Hospital, soon after.
The case is under further investigation by the police institution.
