Bank of Maldives has donated educational tools to equip Special Education Need (SEN) classrooms in 10 schools.
The country’s national bank made the donation as part of their CSR strategy to support persons with disabilities.
The donation will support more than 260 students to develop their individual abilities as well as to positively impact learning and development in an inclusive environment.
The schools the donation was made to include Mulak School in Meemu atoll Mulah, Maradhoo School in Seenu atoll Maradhoo, Maavashu School in Laamu atoll Maavah, Veymandhoo School in Thaa atoll Veymandoo, Gaaf Alif Atoll Education Center in Gaaf Alif atoll’s Villingili, Thaa Atoll Education Center in Thimarafushi island in Thaa atoll, Hanimaadhoo School in Haa Dhaal atoll Hanimaadhoo, Haa Dhaal Atoll School in Vaikaradhoo island of Haa Dhaal atoll, Noonu Atoll Education Center in Noonu atoll Velidhoo, Nolhivaranfaru School in Haa Dhaal atoll Nolhivaranfaru.
Over the course of the past three years, BML has donated educational tools to 30 schools across the archipelago nation in a bid to support students in SEN classes.
