VP Naseem inspects progress of healthcare, social projects in Hulhumalé

Vice President Faisal Naseem has toured infrastructure development sites for social and healthcare sector projects in Hulhumalé.
The vice president toured the development sites on Sunday.
He visited the General Practitioner Service Centre under development in the Hiya towers and the Mental Health Centre under development at the Hulhumalé Hospital and inspected the arrangements for public viewing of the 2022 FIFA World Cup matches in Hulhumalé.
Further, VP Naseem toured the land plot designated for the State Trading Organization (STO) outlet and Waste Management Corporation Ltd. (WAMCO) site, meeting with the senior management and going on to inquire about their operations.
VP Naseem also observed the progress of the work to designate a parking zone for heavy vehicles and the bus stand developed by State Electric Company Ltd. (STELCO) near the Vinares flats, during his visit to Hulhumalé.
Developed by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, Hulhumalé Hospital and Housing Development Corporation (HDC), the General Practitioner Service Center is located at Hiya Tower H16.
The President’s Office revealed that the Mental Health Center will increase the capacity and scale up mental health services in the Greater Malé Region.
