MTCC completes installation of Sh. Feydhoo quay wall block

Sh. Feydhoo harbor construction project is well underway
The installation of a quay wall block under the harbor development project of Sh. Feydhoo has concluded.
The installation of a quay wall block under the development project which was handed over to the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), finished on 21st August.
The project includes the development of a 387-meter boulder tide breakers, 280 meters of shore walls, a ramp, a 1,400 square meter pavement, 10 mooring blocks, 18,500 cubic meter excavation, 9,000 cubic meter reclamation around the docks, two navigation lights on the tide breakers and 14 street lights on the docks.
Speaking on the project, the council of Feydhoo stated that it will ease the transport and give the seafarers peace of mind.
On 29th December 2019 MTCC took over the project for MVR 33.1 Million to finish in 480 days.
