Buru Sports Club has moved closer to the semi final, in the ongoing Second Division Football Tournament by Football Association of Maldives (FAM).

Buru Sports Club went head-to-head with Tent Sports Club in Group One game on Saturday evening and won with a score of 1-0.

The only goal of the match was scored by the foreign player of Buru Sports Club, Brazilian defender Bruno Arabell Pasemani.

With this, Buru is now at the top of the group with 15 points. Buru Sports Club has so far won all of the games they played in the tournament.

Buru Sports Club needs one more point to make it to the semi final, and still has two matches left of the group stage.

On the second position of the group is Kuda Henveiru United with nine points, followed by JJ Sports Club with six points. Tent Sports Club is on the fourth position of the group followed by Dhivehi Sifainge Club, Club PK, Bis Buru Sports Club and Capital City Sports Club.
