Lethal car crash that took place in Male' City
One of the four people receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) due to the lethal car crash in Male' City has been moved to the ward.
Past week's Monday saw a car losing control and crashing into a Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) bus, leaving 5 injured and one dead.
Speaking to Raajje mv, IGMH disclosed that one of the four people who were receiving treatment in the ICU of the hospital has been moved to the ward, as they have started showing signs of improvement.
While three victims remain in the ICU, two are still in ventilators.
Mariyam Amaany Rasheed, 23, Bilehmaage, GA. Maamendhoo, who was one of the people in the car, passed away shortly after she was taken to the hospital.
Among the people injured during the accident, two were in the bus when the accident occurred.
CCTV footage of the accident shows the red sports car racing along the ring road slick with rain, when it suddenly spun out of control and hit another car before crashing into the MTCC bus.
