President Solih meets with the new President of the UAE
President Solih departed to UAE on Sunday, and will return home on Monday.
President Solih is in UAE on an official visit to express his condolences and sympathies in person to the family of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the late President of the UAE | president office
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih met with the new President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Ruler of Abu Dhabi, and Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The President met with Sheikh Mohammed on Sunday, as part of his visit to the UAE to express his condolences and sympathies in person to the family of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the late President of the UAE, Ruler of Abu Dhabi, and Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
Speaking with Sheikh Mohammed, President Solih expressed deep sadness upon learning of Sheikh Khalifa’s passing. And he asked to convey his prayers and condolences to the late President’s family and the people of the UAE.
President Solih stated that Sheikh Khalifa would be remembered as a beacon of modernity and national unity like his father before him. He also prayed to Almighty Allah to bless His Highness Sheikh Khalifa’s soul with eternity in paradise and grant strength and resolve to the late President’s family and the people of the UAE.
The President went on to congratulate His Highness Sheikh Mohammed on his election as the new President of the UAE and wished him success in carrying out his duties.
President Solih departed to UAE on Sunday, and will return home on Monday.
