Vice President Faisal Naseem is in his home island, Fuvahmulah City on an official visit.
VP Naseem departed on the two-day official visit, on Thursday evening.
The visit will see the Vice President attending a session of the ‘Ihya Forum, held to coincide with the fasting month of Ramadan.
He will also attend the groundbreaking ceremony of a project to build the National Centre for Holy Quran.
The Vice President will return to Malé City on Saturday, after concluding the brief visit.
