Vice President tours Expo 2020 Dubai
Vice President Faisal Naseem has toured the pavilions at Expo 2020 Dubai.
As part of his ongoing visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Maldivian Vice President toured the pavilions at Expo 2020 Dubai on Tuesday.
During the tour, he explored the pavilions of Maldives and Saudi Arabia.
The Maldivian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai features how nature and life co-exist , by implementing sustainable practices that address climate change and in synchrony with nature.
VP Naseem joined a ‘Maahefun’ – a traditional feast held to celebrate the upcoming fasting month of Ramadan – during the tour.
He also met and talked with the Maldivian residents, who attended the event.
Taking visitors on a journey through four major pillars including people, nature, heritage and opportunities, the Saudi Arabia Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai provides a glimpse into the shared future.
VP Naseem is on a visit to UAE for the World Government Summit 2022 which he attended on Tuesday. He is accompanied on the trip by Minister of Environment, Climate Change, and Technology Aminath Shauna and the Secretary of Foreign Relations at the President's Office Ibrahim Hood.
