Vice President Faisal Naseem has attended the World Government Summit.2922 as part of his ongoing visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE),

The World Government Summit 2022 was held at the Dubai Exhibition Center, under the directives of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and the Ruler of Dubai.

The two day summit brings together thought leaders, global experts as well as decision makers from around the globe to share and contribute to the development of tools, policies and models that are vital in the shaping of future governments.

Further, it also provides a “unique” platform to exchange best practices and smart solutions to challenges faced by countries, backed by the views of a wide network of leaders in the public and private sectors.

The summit also revolves around encouraging these leaders to think “collectively” and “creatively” regarding unruly connections between government and innovation, with the ultimate goal of promoting development and prosperity globally , specially in a post pandemic world .

Aminath Shauna, the Minister of Environment, Climate Change and Technology of Maldives and Secretary of Foreign Relations at the President's Office Ibrahim Hood accompanies the Vice President on the trip,

The Minister also took part in the panel discussions, “Our Rising Blue Waters: Governments Combating Climate Change” alongside the President of Seychelles, Wavel Ramkalawan and Gaston Browne, the Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda on Tuesday.
