Vice President Faisal Naseem has concluded his two-day trip to Fuvahmulah City.
VP Naseem left to Fuvahmulah City on Friday morning and returned back to Malé on Saturday evening.
He was in Fuvahmulah City to participate in the engagements held in the city as part of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed’s visit to the City as part their current tour of the Maldives’ southernmost cities.
As such, President Solih, announced several key developmental projects to be launched in Fuvahmulah City, during his visit to Fuvahmulah.
Moreover, President Solih sat with the Fuvahmulah City Council to hold extensive discussions regarding the socioeconomic progress of the city, as well as development tactics for upcoming projects. The councilors extended gratitude to the government for the prompt response to the issues raised in the last meeting.
While the VP had returned to Male' City after concluding his trip, the President is scheduled to return to Male' on Monday, 28 March.
