Vice President Faisal Naseem left for a two-day trip to Fuvahmulah City.

President's Office revealed that VP Naseem took off to to Fuvahmulah City on Friday morning.

While the VP is scheduled to return to Male' after concluding his trip on 26 March, he will be accompanying the president during his visit to Fuvahmulah city

The President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih is also scheduled for a trip to Addu and Fuvahmulah City from March 25 to March 28.

During his visit to the southern most cities, the President will be inaugurating the Drug Detoxification and Community Rehabilitation Center in Hulhumeedhoo district of Addu city.

The President will also be inaugurating several other government projects undertaken in the southernmost cities. As such, the agenda of the trip includes, Inaugurating the National Academy of Policing and Law Enforcement, Signing an agreement to increase plots of land, Mobilizing the road construction project in Addu City, as well as, Inaugurating the harbor of Maradhoo district and the harbor of Meedhoo district.

The President will also be officially opening Masjid Ibrahim Mosque in Hithadhoo.
