K. HIMMAFUSHI HARBOR DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has completed the installation of blocks required for quay wall under the second phase of the K. Himmafushi Harbor Development Project.

The company states that after the completion of installing blocks required for the quay wall, they are currently working on the concrete works of the quay wall.

Additionally, by March 14, they have also finished the operations of dredging for the new harbor basin.

The scope of Himmafushi Harbor Development Project, phase two, includes, dredging and excavation operations of 14,300cbm for new harbor basin, construction of a 38m breakwater, a 248m revetment, 172m quay wall and installation of navigational aids.

The value of the project is MVR 25.88 million.
