Provision of utility services in K. Huraa has been handed over to Fenaka Corporation Limited.

The island council of Huraa was the previous provider of electricity, water, and sewerage services in the island.

A special ceremony was held at Huraa, on March 01 to officially hand over the utility service provision of the island to Fenaka Corporation.

K. Huraa Council President, Easa Ahmed and the Managing Director of Fenaka Corporation Ahmed Saeed Mohamed signed the agreements on behalf of both the parties.

Fenaka Corporation highlights this as a major achievement for the company. Huraa has become the first island in K. atoll where utility services are going to be provided by Fenaka.

The company states that their aim is to broaden their service provision and provide the utility services to not only to near by islands but also to the nearby resorts as well.

Fenaka also states that they plan to continuously upgrade and maintain the power generation, water, and sewer facilities in order to cater to the demands of their customers to the best of their abilities.
