First Lady Fazna Ahmed has commended the contribution and dedicated service of the Covid-19 patient relations non-medical support team.

On Tuesday, the first lady attended a reunion dedicated to the volunteers who served on the Ministry of Tourism’s "Covid-19 patient relations non-medical support team”, held to honor the volunteers and show appreciation for their invaluable contributions to the national Covid-19 response.

Expressing her gratitude and deep appreciation for the contribution and dedicated service in assisting Covid-19 patients and the overall efforts in combating the pandemic, Fazna stated that in spite of the situation at the time of the call, volunteers had shown exceptional compassion and rendered exemplary humanitarian services.

She also expressed her thanks to the volunteers and humanitarians who have been providing their support and assistance to the national Covid-19 response.

Volunteers were presented with certificates of appreciation during the reunion event.
