Active Covid-19 cases in Addu City pushed to 356, with 41 more cases
Nine deaths have been reported from Addu so far
Monitoring measures have since been enforced in the city
Active Covid-19 cases in Addu City have been pushed to 356, with 41 more cases detected by sundown on Sunday.
According to the latest statistics by Addu Equatorial Hospital, Sunday’s infections incudes 23 from Hithadhoo district, two from Maradhoo, one in Maradhoo-Feydhoo, three in Meedhoo and 11 from Feydhoo district.
With this, active cases in Addu City adds up to 356, most of which span across Hithadhoo, at 173. Of the remaining active cases, 75 are in Maradhoo, 62 are in Feydhoo, eight in Maradhoo-Feydhoo, seven in Hulhudhoo, two in Gan and the remaining 29 are in Meedhoo district.
Three Covid-19 patients are currently receiving in-hospital treatment at the Addu Covid Management Facility.
The southernmost city has observed nine fatalities linked to the virus so far.
Monitoring measures have since been enforced in the city.
