An individual is receiving treatment for injuries attained in a fire incident reported on Wednesday.
According to the Information Officer at the Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF), the incident of a gas cylinder on the first story of ‘Olhuhaa’ house in Maafannu district of Maldves capital Malé City exploding, was reported at around 3:21pm on Wednesday.
One individual who attained burn injuries has since been taken to the hospital for treatment.
MNDF’s Fire and Rescue team are active in the region currently. Further details are yet to be disclosed.
