Capable firefighter and aviation sector worker Ahmed ‘Fayaa’ Fayaz has passed away in a sudden death.
Fayaz, who was the Safety and Quality Director at Regional Airports passed away on Wednesday night while attending to work obligations at Ha. Hoarafushi.
Fayaz, who worked at MACL for many years was a highly capable firefighter, and also a skilled basketballer.
In relation to Fayaz’s death Hoarafushi constituency MP Ahmed Saleem expressed grief via a tweet, emphasizing what a kind hearted person Fayaz had been, and that the entire Hoarafushi community joins in mourning his passing.
Fayaz’s body was brought to Male' City on a chartered flight in the middle of the night on Wednesday.
