Monitoring measures lifted from Thoddoo, Rasdhoo
Fuvahmulah City has been under monitoring the longest, with the measures imposed on May 6.
HA. Thakandhoo was placed under monitoring this weekend
Thoddo was placed under monitoring on May 24 while measures were imposed in Rasdhoo on July 17

Thoddoo and Rasdhoo islands in Alif Alif atoll have been released from monitoring.

The measures were lifted from Thoddoo after two months, with the island placed on monitoring on May 24 after the confirmation of Covid-19 cases on the island. It was placed under monitoring in January as well.

Rasdhoo was released from monitoring after 12 days; the island was last placed under monitoring on the 17th of July. Due to Covid-19 conditions’ increasing severity in the island, with five positive cases, Rasdhoo was brought under monitoring in April as well.

With the latest developments, 11 islands in the island nation remains under monitoring. They are; Fuvamulah City, Sh. Feevah, R, Dhuvaafaru, GA. Kooddoo, Sh. Foakaidhoo, GA. Nadellaa, K. Kaashidhoo, HDh. Kulhudhuffushi, HA. Dhidhdhoo, M. Kolhufushi and HA. Thakandhoo which was placed under monitoring on Friday.

Fuvahmulah City has been under monitoring the longest, with the measures imposed on May 6.
