Local telecommunications provider Dhiraagu has introduced a special promotion targeted towards customers new to their Fibre Broadband Service.

Under the promotion, Dhiraagu offers free Fibre Broadband setup along with a router with 50 percent off, to customers residing in buildings fixed with a Dhiraagu fibre cables. Customers residing in buildings without Dhiraagu fibre cables are entitled to a 50 percent discount in connection fees for the “fastest” and “most reliable” Fibre Broadband network in the Maldives.

Dhiraagu revealed that the promotion is valid through March 2021.

In addition, Dhiraagu also introduced an exciting lucky draw that allows customers who apply for the service by March 15, to participate to win 50 percent discounts from monthly Fibre Broadband packages fees for a period of two months. 25 lucky customers are entitled to this privilege.

Dhiraagu’s Fibre Broadband Service promises more data, more speed, low data prices and no extra charges and Dhiraagu has also upgraded packages for existing customers, who are entitled to 50 percent more data through fibre boosters.

The 100gb package comes with 15Mbps download and upload speed and moderate social media usage and browsing for MVR 690 per month whereas the 200gb package is priced at MVR 990 per month boasting 25mbps download speed and 20mbps upload speed. Finally, the 420gb package comes with 50mbps download speed and 25mbps upload speed, with a price tag of MVR 1,490 per month.

Dhiraagu offers a number of fixed broadband packages suited for different audiences including the country’s “fastest” internet speed and “biggest” data allowance.

With the country’s first fibre optic submarine cable network spanning the entire archipelago nation, Dhiraagu has the largest Fibre broadband network in the country, covering 80 percent of Maldivian households.
