MET office has issued yellow alert fro Th. Atoll to Addu city
Today, Maldives Meteorological Service has issued yellow alert from Th. Atoll to Addu city from 1145 hours to 1600 hours.
MET office has predicted there will be torrential rain fall and thunderstorm.
Furthermore, they have informed that gusty winds of 50 mph is expected throughout this region.
Different parts of Maldives has been facing heavy rain fall and during showers, the sea is generally rough.
MNDF has asked everyone to be careful while travelling as the sea is rough and the winds are gusty.
